Andrew “Andy” Dobbie, Secretary

Andrew “Andy” Dobbie brings more than 20 years of consumer-goods leadership, sales, marketing, category management, and business operations experience to the Emerald Literary Guild. A lifelong reader since age eight, Andy built a personal collection of more than 4,000 books, with a special love for science fiction, fantasy, the written word, and storytelling. When he left the British Virgin Islands in 2016, he donated that collection to local schools, but never stopped reading. While he does not join the Guild as a writer, Andy serves as Secretary and supports the board by helping organize the business, administrative, and operational side of the nonprofit so it can grow more effective.
